This oeuvre, created in the 14th century, is transmitted in a magnificent manuscript in Torun. This edition contains the most comprehensive compilation of all translations of the Catena aurea known to date. These texts are followed by the copy of a fragment from the close of the 15th century, containing a Bavarian translation of this commentary on St. Mark’s Gospel.
