This eBook introduces the subject of number patterns and sequences at Grades 3, 4 & 5, and introduces odd and even numbers, square numbers, square roots, factors, prime numbers, multiples, simple sequences and special sequences (including square number sequences, the Fibonacci series and triangular numbers).

Number Patterns and Sequences is a module within the Number and Algebra principle section our Grades 3, 4 & 5 publications. After studying Elementary School ‘Grades 3, 4 & 5 – Math – Number Patterns and Sequences – Ages 8-11’ eBook your child or the student should be confidently able to: -recognise and describe number patterns including simple incremental offset number patterns, two- and three-digit multiples of 2, 5 or 10, square number patterns (up to 10×10), triangular number patterns and the numbers of the Fibonacci series. -use words and number relationships to calculate incremental numbers in a sequence, and test these. -understand what prime numbers are, identify and recognise prime numbers up to 20 as well as to find prime factor pairs and all the prime factors of any two-digit integer. In it we also introduce the child to square roots.
